1. Creative Desk Research
- Conducting in-depth research into potential customers and using various online resources to identify relevant leads.
- Contacting leads proactively and strategically
- Collaborating with the broader Sales and Marketing team to develop effective strategies for lead generation.
- Understanding Penta’s customer persona to focus time and effort in the right areas.
- Desk market research to create a list of potential leads.
2. Outbound Investigative Calls
- Making daily outbound calls in line with measurables to new potential customers identified through desk research.
- Scheduling follow-up calls with potential customers and building strong relationships.
- Use initiative and rapport-building skills to identify new opportunities.
- Proactively maintain “warm touches” with attractive potential customers.
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop strategy and optimise outreach efforts.
3. Potential Customer Qualification
- Building a strong knowledge of the personas of A and B-class customers and learning the right questions to ask to identify these personas.
- Delivering ‘warmed up’ potential A&B Class customers to the Business Development Manager.
- Ensuring that the Business Development Manager has a strong pipeline of qualified leads that are ready for a follow-up.
- Ensuring that the Business Development Manager has all the information they need on potential customers to help frame their conversations.
- Provide regular feedback to the sales and marketing team based on customer response and market trends.
4. Data Management
- Developing and maintaining CRM with new customer details and maintaining accurate details of calls, ensuring that all records are up to date.
- Updating the IMS (marketing automation) and Progress+ with contact details, preferences, and qualifying notes.
- Taking ownership of measurables to ensure that there is a consistent flow of leads to the account management team.
- Using the Penta Way scorecard to build an understanding of what a great day looks like and work to continuously develop and improve on these numbers.
- Working in line with GDPR guidelines.
5. Continuous Improvement of Department & Self
- Challenge current ways of working to make improvements.
- Raise issues to be discussed at the weekly departmental meeting.
- Come prepared and contribute at all meetings.
- Work on self-development.
